What Does "Registration Category" Mean?

 

* Paper/Poster Author:

  • At least one author for each accepted paper must register at the Paper author rate if he/she is a student.
  • One registration covers the publication of one paper only.
  • Authors with two or more papers must pay full registration for each accepted paper.

** Attendee:

  • Any attendee who is not author or student must register at this rate.

*** Student:

  • Must be registered as a student at the time of the conference.
  • Valid current ID will be requested for validation during the conference.

ACM or ACM Cairo Chapter Memberships:

  • You are a member of ACM or ACM Cairo Chapter.

    • To become an ACM member, please visit: https://www.acm.org/membership 

    • To become an ACM Cairo Chapter member, simply indicate that in your online registration form. You will be offered a FREE ONE year membership in Cairo Chapter and the reduced rate if you choose to become a member at the time of registration. 

  • You must provide a valid ACM membership at registration time. Membership ID’s are checked against ACM database at such time.
    • Failing to provide evidence for being an ACM or an ACM Cairo Chapter member will result in enforcing the Non-ACM / Non-ACM Cairo Chapter fees that corresponds to your registration category. 

What Does the Registration Package Include?

Your Registration Package Includes:

  • Access to keynote speaker sessions, all technical sessions, panels and the lunches and coffee breaks for two days
  • One complimentary conference bag
  • Free admission to conference tutorials 
  • Publication of one paper in conference proceeding (for paper authors)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests for Attendee and Student registrations must be received by the following dates in order to ensure proper refunds.

Q. I have two papers accepted, what registration fee should I pay?

You will need to pay TWO Paper Author Registration fee to cover the publication of both papers.

You will need to pay TWO Paper Author Registration fee to cover the publication of both.

Q. I am a (Ph.D. or M.Sc.) student and I have a paper accepted, what registration fee should I pay?

You will need to register as a Paper Author.

Q. I am an ACM member already, how would I take advantage of the discount rate?

You will simply need to supply your ACM membership ID during the submission process. The conference will validate this membership ID and approve your discount.

Q. I am NOT an ACM member, but I want to take advantage of the discount for ACM members?

Simply sign up for ACM membership at https://www.acm.org/membership. You will need to supply your ACM membership ID during the submission process. The conference will validate this membership ID and approve your discount.
